Ampetronic was recently presented with a 2022 Queen’s Award for Enterprise for excellence in International Trade. The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious business awards in the country, with winning businesses able to use the esteemed Queen’s Awards Emblem for the next five years.

Ampetronic has been trading since 1987, its mission is to bring intelligible sound into the lives of people with hearing loss by improving the quality of installed hearing access equipment.

On being presented with the award by The Lord Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire – Sir John Peace, MD of Ampetronic Julian Pieters, comments:

“We are honoured to receive the award today, made especially poignant following the death of Her Majesty last year.  I am delighted that our customers and the team at Ampetronic were able to sustain a significant level of growth in international trade over the last 6 years despite restrictions imposed by the pandemic and this reflects the genuine benefit we provide to people who experience hearing loss. We’re a small business with a global impact and our long-term investments in future technology will ensure our presence in assistive listening for many years to come.”

Sir John was accompanied at the ceremony by Deputy Lieutenant Ed Attenborough, Chairman of Nottinghamshire County Council, Councillor Roger Jackson, Chairman of Newark and Sherwood District Council, Councillor Sue Saddington and the Mayor of Newark, Councillor Laurence Goff.
