ECS Scheme: Price Increase Effective from 1st January 2025
While price increases are never welcome news, we want to give our members advance notice of upcoming changes. Starting from 1st January 2025, there will be an increase in the cost of ECS assessments and cards by JIB/ECS.
According to the notification from JIB:

Here’s a breakdown of the new pricing:
- HS&E Assessment: £47.50 + VAT (previously £46.50 + VAT)
- Electrical Safety Assessment: £47.50 + VAT (previously £46.50 + VAT)
- ECS AV Engineer card (initial): £47.50 + VAT (previously £46.50 + VAT)
