This year’s Fire & Security Matters Awards, held in Coventry, received over 320 entries and attracted a record attendance of over 800 guests. The gala event, hosted by comedian Jason Manford, saw Illumino Ignis, an ISCVE supporting member, receiving the ‘Distributor of the Year’ award, sponsored by ISCVE premium supporting member C-TEC.

Illumino Ignis, specialists in fire safety product design, supply, commissioning, and support, stood out among the entries for their exceptional contributions to customer service and product innovation over the past two years.

In 2022, Illumino Ignis launched a free Engineers App, offering invaluable resources such as wiring diagrams, panel guides, resistor calculators, and BS 5839 standards to fire alarm engineers. The app, rebranded as the ‘Engineers App’ in 2023, has seen hundreds of downloads since its launch.

The company’s commitment to product development continued with the introduction of it’s engineer kits. Illumino Essentials, developed in 2024, a range of innovative products designed to solve real on-site problems, including the latest product, ‘The Engineers workstation.’

Illumino Ignis’s dedication to customer support extends beyond products. The company provides free training to Electrical Contractors on fire system design, leveraging its four branches across the country, each equipped with dedicated training facilities. These sessions are hosted and led by Technical Manager Graham Cardwell.
