RCF Delivers Scalable, High-Performance Sound at Groundbreaking ‘Goodnight Nashville’ Venue
Goodnight Nashville is making waves in the entertainment world – not just for its connection to breakout country artist Jelly Roll. This striking six-storey mass-timber venue, constructed entirely without structural steel, brings with it a unique set of acoustic and architectural challenges. Meeting those demands required exceptional precision and a highly adaptable AV solution.
RCF and TT+ Audio rose to the task.
Working closely with Nashville-based integrator JAG Warner Productions, led by president Jake Warner, the team delivered a scalable, fully zoned audio system built around RCF’s renowned voicing consistency and system-wide flexibility.
“The entire venue is designed for maximum flexibility,” explains Warner. “With preset recall and Dante Domain Manager, they can deploy live bands, DJs, or streamed content anywhere in the building—or even at their other sites across the country.”
The venue’s second-floor nightclub space is anchored by a TT+ Audio GTX 10 line array system, installed with three separate rigging positions and paired with a modular stage for fast reconfiguration. Amplification and DSP are managed by RCF XPS 16K amplifiers, with a Q-SYS platform providing system routing and control. Low-frequency extension is handled by GTS 29 subwoofers. Throughout the venue, more than 35 COMPACT M 08 loudspeakers ensure clear, consistent coverage in lounges, staircases, and upper balconies.
The ground floor stage features HDL 30-A line array and GTS 29 subwoofers. On the rooftop DJ deck, RCF COMPACT C 32 WP weatherproof speakers, originally developed based on Warner’s request, deliver reliable, high-output sound for outdoor use. RCF NX stage monitors and other RCF speakers are shared between stages.
Tying it all together is a 1,100-channel Dante® infrastructure, managed with Dante Domain Manager, allowing seamless content routing, zone recall, and full system control across four floors, and even to sister venues in other cities.
From the challenges of highly reflective wood surfaces to strict architectural aesthetics, Goodnight Nashville stands as a leading example of how RCF’s precision engineering can overcome the most demanding integration environments.
