The event is at the Bristol Hotel on 27-29 November 2018. A conference dinner will take place on Brunel’s @SSGreatBritain on Wed 28th November.
d&b audiotechnik are presenting their new sound reinforcement concept known as Soundscape. This system consists of a Source Orientated Reinforcement system, an Enhanced Reverberation system and a 360 degree Spatial Audio system. There will be a half hour presentation of Soundscape and the thinking behind it followed by a demonstration of the various elements of the system. Delegates will be able to see the user interface in action, walk the room and compare the system with a traditional stereo (or dual mono) system. This presentation takes place 7:30-9pm on 27th November.
On Thursday evening (29th November), there’s an opportunity to partake in a backstage tour of Bristol Old Vic Theatre.
Reproduced Sound is a conference organised by the Electro-Acoustics group of the Institute of Acoustics (IoA), and has been an annual event since 1984. This long running conference will interest all those who work in the multi-disciplinary world where matters electrical and electronic meet with matters acoustic, architectural or intelligibility. Each year, a core topic for technical contributions is included, around which organised contributions on more traditional areas of interaction of acoustical space with audio systems are added.
