Super Bowl LIX delivered record-breaking viewership, with 126 million tuning in to witness the Kansas City Chiefs face the Philadelphia Eagles. From the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Shure’s cutting-edge wireless technology ensured flawless audio for fans in the stadium and at home.
ATK Audiotek and Professional Wireless Systems managed all wireless microphones and in-ear monitors for the pre-game, halftime, and referee communications. The Emmy Award-winning Shure Axient® Digital Wireless System and PSM® 1000 were key to performances, including Post Malone at the Bud Light Backyard Concert, Ledisi, Trombone Shorty, and Jon Batiste’s rendition of the national anthem.
During the pre-game, Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Ledisi performed “Lift Every Voice and Sing” with a Shure KSM9 condenser microphone capsule on an Axient Digital ADX2 wireless transmitter. Trombone Shorty’s trombone performance of “America the Beautiful” was captured by a Shure Axient Digital ADX1 bodypack transmitter and BETA 98H/C miniature instrument microphone,
Before kickoff, Jon Batiste trusted Shure Axient Digital for his spectacular live performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” using an all-white frequency diversity handheld microphone transmitter with a KSM9 capsule.
