Training Event Highlights: Making Waves: The Acoustics Essentials
We are pleased to report on our most recent training event, which took place on 11 September 2024, hosted by our supporting member, Shure, at their facilities in Waltham Abbey. This event was just one of many CPD-accredited courses offered by ISCVE.
The course, Making Waves: The Acoustics Essentials, was expertly presented by Tony Stacey FInstSCVE. Tony is a highly respected Acoustic Consultant with extensive experience in the field of Speech Intelligibility. He has authored and presented numerous papers on electro-acoustic subjects for both the Institute of Acoustics and the Institute of Sound and Communications & Visual Engineers.
About the Course:
Making Waves: The Acoustics Essentials is designed to provide a deeper understanding of sound beyond just the loudspeakers. It is ideal for technicians, newcomers to acoustics and experienced professionals seeking to refresh their knowledge.
The course covers essential topics to ensure delegates are equipped with the key principles needed to deliver optimal auditory experiences across various spaces.
We would like to extend our thanks to Shure for their generous hosting and to Tony Stacey for his enjoyable presentation.
