ISCVE is pleased to welcome Mark Faulks FInstSCVE as a co-opted member of Council.

Mark is a highly experienced IT and audio-visual professional whose career spans software development, systems administration and AV system integration. Currently working within an AV installations company, he designs, programs, commissions and troubleshoots complex AV control systems, including both wired and wireless data networks. His ability to bridge IT infrastructure and professional AV brings valuable insight to the Institute as technology convergence continues to shape our sector.

Before moving into the AV industry, Mark worked as a software developer and systems administrator for a UK charity, developing the analytical and problem-solving expertise that underpins his technical approach today.

Mark is a Fellow of ISCVE and Chairman of the AV Engineers Committee, where he plays an active role in shaping technical resources, supporting standards awareness and contributing to professional development initiatives for members.

His appointment as a co-opted member will be formally ratified at the AGM in March 2026.

We look forward to the experience, technical insight and leadership Mark will bring to Council as we continue to strengthen the Institute’s support for members across the sound, communications and visual engineering sectors.
