Welcoming New Members to ISCVE Council
ISCVE is delighted to welcome John Perry and Mark Bailey as co-opted members of Council. Both bring extensive experience and strong industry insight that will help shape the Institute’s work in the year ahead. Their appointments will be formally ratified at the AGM in March 2026.
John Perry – Council Member
John is an accomplished AV professional with over three decades of experience across the industry, bringing a practical, solutions-focused perspective to ISCVE’s Council.
He is the Technical Director at Kando-AV, a consultancy that delivers independent audio-visual system design, training, technical support and project solutions. John began his career in high-end Hi-Fi retail in London’s Covent Garden and has since worked with some of the sector’s most respected brands and technologies, including Yamaha, Neutrik, QSC and Shure, among others.
John’s expertise spans system design, consultancy and technical leadership, making him a strong addition to Council.
Mark Bailey – Council Member | ISCVEx Committee Member
Mark is an Electroacoustics graduate from the University of Salford and began his career designing and planning systems for stadia and entertainment venues — and occasionally the products used within them.
He played a key role in the launch of Smaart in Europe, helped transition users from JBL’s CADP2 to the AFMG EASE platform, and has delivered notable commercial success through senior roles at Harman and QSC. Mark is also well-known as an engaging presenter on subjects including line arrays, subwoofer system design and wider acoustics topics.
We look forward to the valuable perspectives John and Mark will bring to ISCVE Council as we continue to grow the Institute and support our members with meaningful insight and leadership.
