ISCVE Supporting Member DNH is celebrating an impressive milestone this year, marking 80 years of loudspeaker manufacturing and innovation.

Founded in 1946 in Norway, DNH began as a specialist loudspeaker manufacturer and has grown into a globally recognised brand supplying industrial and commercial audio solutions around the world. Despite this international reach, the company has remained proudly family-owned across generations, maintaining a strong commitment to quality, craftsmanship and long-term relationships with partners and customers.

Over the past eight decades, DNH has built a reputation for reliable sound solutions designed for demanding environments. Today, the company exports around 90% of its production worldwide, providing loudspeakers and audio systems used across a wide range of applications including industry, transport, marine, and commercial facilities.

One of the company’s defining characteristics is its continued connection to its origins. More than 70 employees still manufacture loudspeakers by hand at the same Norwegian facilities where production first began, reflecting a blend of tradition, engineering expertise and modern certification standards required for international markets.

As DNH marks this anniversary, the company has recognised the many people who have contributed to its success, from generations of employees and family leadership to partners, suppliers and customers across the globe.
