ISCVE Expands ECS Card Scheme with New Audiovisual Technician and Project Manager Cards
ISCVE has updated its ECS Card Scheme website pages with the introduction of two new ECS card routes for professionals working within the audiovisual industry.
The new additions include:
- Audiovisual Technician Gold ECS Card
- Audiovisual Project Manager Black ECS Card
The new card routes have been introduced to better support the growing range of specialist technical and project management roles across the AV industry, while helping professionals demonstrate recognised competency, qualifications and health & safety awareness.
The Audiovisual Technician Gold ECS Card is aimed at experienced AV professionals involved in the installation, commissioning and support of integrated audiovisual systems and technologies. The card is designed for technicians qualified to a Level 3 vocational standard or above.
The Audiovisual Project Manager Black ECS Card supports professionals responsible for managing audiovisual projects, including installation coordination, site supervision, project delivery and client liaison. The card is intended for those holding a Level 4 or Level 5 qualification within a supervisory or managerial role in the audiovisual sector.
The updated ECS Card Scheme website pages also provide clearer guidance on:
- Eligibility requirements
- ECS Health, Safety & Environmental Assessments
- ECS Electrical Safety Unit Assessments
- Assessment Exemptions
- Card renewals and replacements
- Membership requirements
As competency and site access requirements continue to increase across construction and technology sectors, ECS cards provide recognised proof of identity, qualifications and industry-related health & safety awareness.
ISCVE continues to support applicants throughout the ECS card application process, helping to simplify the journey and reduce the time and effort often associated with industry certification requirements. The scheme provides a recognised and supported route into ECS accreditation, with guidance available throughout the application process.
