Role Profile:
On-time, on-budget, on-spec delivery of multiple business-critical engineering projects including of electronics hardware, embedded software and system control software.
- Role located in Lewes, East Sussex, UK – one of our 3 global R&D centres
- Reporting to the Director of Project Management and the global project management team
- Working closely with the Head of R&D, Lewes
Responsibilities:
- Manage R&D Projects according to Zenitel Project Management processes and values
- Ensure clear communication/reporting on project status, highlighting project risks and opportunities
- Reporting of project status up to CTO/CEO level
- Initiate process / tool and method improvement activities to deliver measurable improvements in project delivery
- Ensure process synchronisation with global project management team
Experience:
You will have a strong background in managing multiple engineering projects with a particular focus on R&D. You will have experience in agile project management methodologies – expertise in the use of JIRA or similar tools will be advantageous.
A confident self-starter you will be able to quickly establish yourself in our Lewes R&D department and manage projects with authority and diplomacy.
An excellent communicator you have a proven track record of driving complex technical projects in a technology business to meet key deliverables.
Education & Qualifications:
The candidate will hold a degree in a relevant subject such as Engineering / Computer Science / Mathematics or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience. Possession of a Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2 or APM would be desirable.
Technical training will be provided on our technology and product range.
