Tony Stacey is a Freelance Acoustic and Electro-acoustic Consultant specialising in the field of Speech Intelligibility for Public Address and Voice Alarm systems.
Previously working for a well-known London based Acoustic Consultancy for more than two decades, Tony designed and developed their in-house and on-site methodologies including for testing loudspeakers, amplifiers, and PA/VA systems.
With a background in Physics, Tony has written and presented several papers on various electro-acoustic related subjects for both the Institute of Acoustics and the Institute of Sound, Communications & Visual Engineers.
Tony has worked on many large and small-scale projects in sectors including mass transit, retail, sport, museums, and Ministry of Defence both in the UK and overseas.
As well as sitting on Council, Tony is the Chair of the Standards Committee and is a Trainer for the ISCVE.
