61 Installations and Counting for Together For Cinema
61 Installations and Counting for Together For Cinema
ISCVE Association Partner Together For Cinema has reported another successful quarter, continuing its remarkable work creating dedicated cinema rooms in hospices, schools and care facilities across the UK.
Founded by Ian Morrish, Together For Cinema brings together the residential AV industry to design and install cinema spaces that provide enjoyment, comfort and valuable moments of respite for children, patients and their families.
61 Cinema Installations Completed
The organisation has now reached the significant milestone of 61 completed cinema room installations, with an estimated value of almost £1.6 million had the projects been commercially commissioned.
Each installation provides a legacy for the organisations involved, creating spaces where users can enjoy films, entertainment and shared experiences during what can often be challenging times.
A further six installations are scheduled to be completed before the end of the year.
Launch of GivingBack.tech
Another major development has been the launch of GivingBack.tech, a new platform designed to help charities and worthy causes access donated AV technology.
The initiative enables organisations to repurpose surplus equipment, extending the life of valuable products while helping charities benefit from technology, they may otherwise be unable to access.
Industry Support Continues
Together For Cinema has remained active across the industry, attending the recent CEDIA Tech Summits in Manchester and Edinburgh and continuing its fundraising activities to support future projects.
The organisation has also appointed three new ambassadors to help raise awareness of both Together For Cinema and GivingBack.tech:
- Mike Beatty
- Mark Nisbet
- Gordon Dutch
2026 Installation Programme
Three installations have already been completed this year:
- Marie Curie Hospice, Bradford
- Keech Children’s Hospice, Luton
- Oakhaven Hospice, Lymington
Further projects are planned throughout 2026, including installations at:
- Helen House Children’s Hospice, Oxford
- St Columba’s Hospice, Edinburgh
- Linden Lodge School, Wimbledon
- Marie Curie Hospice, Solihull
- Francis House Children’s Hospice, Manchester
- Demelza Children’s Hospice, London
These projects are being delivered by a network of AV integrators who generously contribute their time, expertise and resources to support the initiative.
Looking Ahead
Reflecting on the past quarter, Founder and Managing Director Ian Morrish described it as a busy but highly positive period, with progress across both Together For Cinema and the recently launched GivingBack.tech platform.
As the organisation moves into the second half of the year, it continues to show how technology and industry collaboration can make a real difference to communities across the UK.
ISCVE congratulates Ian and the Together For Cinema team on their continued success and thanks everyone involved for the impact they continue to make through these life-enhancing projects.
