It was a pleasure to connect with everyone at the ABTT Theatre Show. Ros and Sarah had a chance to catch up with many of our members and discuss upcoming projects and plans.

ABTT Theatre Show, held at Alexandra Palace on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th June, unites a range of specialist suppliers supporting live performance technology, production and education. It offers a platform for professionals in theatre, performance, events, festivals and music to connect and collaborate, fostering industry growth and innovation.

The free seminar programme drew a strong crowd and delved into various topics, such as theatre sound technologies, health and safety priorities, sustainability practices for venues, the potential of an open standard in automation, and tips for maintaining a successful freelance career.

The Free Skills Workshops provided hands-on sessions to boost vocational development in technical careers. These included tactics for concealing microphones, spotting electrical faults, and an intro to AutoCAD.

Congratulations to Ampetronic, an ISCVE supporting member, for receiving the ABTT Award for Sound Product of the Year 2024

All in all it was a great show and we look forward to attending again next year.
