Together For Cinema – Quarterly Update
Together For Cinema – Quarterly Update
Our association partner Together For Cinema has shared their latest quarterly update, and it’s been a busy and inspiring few months of industry collaboration, installations, fundraising, and new initiatives.
Installation Milestone
Together For Cinema has now completed 55 cinema room installations, representing an equivalent industry value of £1.45 million. These projects continue to bring joy, comfort, and moments of escape to families across the UK.
In 2025 alone, nine new installations are scheduled – the largest delivery in a single year to date. Recent highlights include projects at:
- Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice, Arundel (Seven Integration)
- Jolly Josh, Rochdale (Majik House)
- Heart Heroes, Gloucester (Digital Interiors)
- Little Havens Children’s Hospice, Benfleet (The Cinema Company)
Further installations are already underway or planned for Bradford, Teesside, London, and Newcastle. Looking ahead, 2026 is also shaping up to be another busy year, with sites such as Teens Unite (Broxbourne), Shooting Star Hospice (Middlesex), and Ronald McDonald House Charity (Merseyside) in the pipeline.
Fundraising Success
Fundraising has been strong this quarter:
- The Peerless-AV Golf Day at Moor Park raised over £10,000.
- The London to Brighton Cycle Ride saw 45 participants complete the 55-mile challenge, raising £21,000 and counting.
- Together For Cinema also received a £1,000 Selco Community Heroes Award.
These efforts provide vital support, ensuring more installations can be delivered in the months ahead.
GivingBack.tech – A New Initiative
One of the most exciting developments is the near completion of GivingBack.tech, a new website designed to repurpose excess AV equipment for good causes. The platform will connect manufacturers, distributors, integrators, and corporates with charities and CICs seeking second-hand, discontinued, or B-stock equipment.
Testing will begin in October 2025 with 40 AV companies and 100 charities. A full launch is anticipated in early 2026.
Call for Charitable Partners
Together For Cinema currently has 76 Charitable Partners and is aiming for 90 by 2026. With tiered support levels from Bronze (£500) through to Diamond (£10,000), there are opportunities for all within the AV industry to contribute. This support is essential for continuing installations and developing new projects such as GivingBack.tech.
Looking Ahead
Founder and Managing Director Ian Morrish reflects:
“Together For Cinema is a proven, positive, and well-supported cause. With GivingBack.tech now almost ready to launch, we’re excited to see how our industry can further contribute, repurpose, and make a difference.”
