ISCVE held its Get Ahead 2025 event last week at the iconic Principality Stadium in Cardiff, and what a day it was!

The event brought together professionals, and newcomers, from across the sound, communications and visual industries for a day of inspiration, learning and networking. With strong in-person attendance and excellent online participation, Get Ahead once again proved its growing value as a must-attend date in the ISCVE calendar.

Attendees enjoyed an engaging seminar focusing on the upgrades and installations of the stadium’s sound systems, followed by an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour and live sound demonstration. The experience offered a fascinating insight into the venue’s AV systems, control rooms and acoustic design in action.

This was followed by a seminar presented from François Deffarges, NEXO’s Engineering Support Director, who explored system design strategy and the essential information integrators need to deliver successful large-scale sound projects.

ISCVE extends a special thank you to Nexo, particularly Rich Soper MInstSCVE for his involvement, and to Richard Vaughan FInstSCVE and Paul Adams from PAI Group, François Deffarges for their expert seminar presentations and contributions to the system demonstrations and event setup.
