Together For Cinema Reaches 60 Installed Cinema Rooms – Get Involved in 2026 Here!
ISCVE is pleased to share an update from our partner association, Together For Cinema, whose remarkable work continues to bring joy, comfort and connection to children, families and carers in challenging circumstances.
As of this year, 60 cinema rooms have now been donated to charities, hospices and community organisations across the UK, representing over £1.5 million worth of installations, had they been paid for. In 2025 alone, another nine cinema rooms are scheduled to be completed, each one delivered through the generosity and collaboration of the AV industry.
These installations create spaces where children and families can enjoy a moment of escape at incredibly difficult times, and the impact is felt long after the rooms are completed. Together For Cinema is clear that this success is only possible because of the industry’s continued goodwill, technical expertise and financial support.

A Call for 2026 Charitable Partners
As costs rise for everyone in the sector, Together For Cinema is appealing for renewed and expanded backing to ensure their work can continue. Organisations able to contribute financially are invited to join the 2026 Charitable Partnership programme, with five levels of support available:
- Diamond – £10,000
- Platinum – £5,000
- Gold – £2,500
- Silver – £1,000
- Bronze – £500
Every partner receives a branded plaque to display their support, with updated inserts issued each year on renewal. New partners will also be listed on the Together For Cinema website and acknowledged across their social media channels.
New Initiative: GivingBack.Tech
Another exciting development is the launch of GivingBack.Tech, a new platform created to help repurpose AV equipment for good causes. Designed to connect manufacturers, distributors, integrators, universities and corporates with charities and community organisations, the site will allow equipment donations – including B-stock and discontinued items to be matched quickly with those who need them most.
The platform is currently in testing and is expected to go live in early 2026. Like all of Together For Cinema’s work, the initiative relies on industry funding to operate effectively and reach the widest possible community.
A Shared Industry Impact
The AV community has played a critical role in making Together For Cinema’s vision a reality. For those already supporting, your contributions have directly enhanced the lives of hundreds of families. For organisations not yet involved, 2026 presents an opportunity to join a united industry effort that delivers genuine, lasting value.
