Compact and powerful, NEXO sound systems are fast becoming an industry standard in hospitality settings. At the Paliatsos bar and restaurant about 20km outside Athens, custom cabinet finishing has been taken one step further by upholsterer Mr. Angelos Georgantis. Choosing not to stop at the soft furnishings, Angelos went on to cover the venue’s NEXO P+ Series speakers in rich fabrics that complement the traditional design and architecture of the bar.

Open until 3.00 AM, music is a big part of the experience at Paliatsos where it’s not unusual to see dancing on the tables. With a regular lineup of live bands, it’s clear that the installed sound system would have to perform way beyond what could be expected from a typical restaurant system.

So, Athens based IMA Audio Lighting designed an all-NEXO system comprising 6 x P10s from the latest P+ Series point source range, along with 2 further PS10s and 4 x LS400 subs.

“The owners are already familiar with the exceptional performance of NEXO systems” reports IMA’s Alex Kafkaniotis. “They also own the Juan Rodriguez Hacienda (Hotel) in Athens where we installed an ID Series system.
