Institute of Acoustics London Branch is inviting presentations for an upcoming one-day meeting focused on Human-centred Acoustics – More than just a number, taking place on Wednesday 20 May in London.

Understanding how people experience sound is central to good acoustic design. This event will explore how acoustic environments can better support comfort, wellbeing, and inclusivity, bringing together professionals and researchers working across subjective acoustics, design, and emerging technologies.

Topics of interest include:

• Designing for inclusivity and diversity
• Human-centric acoustic design
• Psychoacoustics and soundscapes
• Non-acoustic factors influencing perception and comfort
• Emerging technologies

ISCVE members with relevant project experience, research, or case studies are warmly encouraged to consider submitting an abstract.

Abstract (up to 250 words) plus a short biography (up to 250 words)
