Kelsey Acoustics achieves Milan certification for KelseyVerse audio interfaces
ISCVE Supporting Member Kelsey Acoustics has achieved full Milan certification for its KelseyVerse KV-M22A and KV-M22D audio interfaces.
Both products are now listed on the Avnu Alliance’s Certified Product Registry, confirming that they meet Milan’s requirements for interoperability, deterministic latency and clock synchronisation.
The KV-M22A is a two-input, two-output analogue-to-Milan interface, while the KV-M22D provides four-input, four-output AES3-to-Milan connectivity. Certification verifies that both interfaces can operate alongside other Milan-certified devices on the same network, regardless of manufacturer.
Both products are powered using Power over Ethernet and do not require a separate power supply. Optional 1U rack adaptor kits are also available for mounting either one or two units.
Milan is an open, standards-based media networking protocol built on Audio Video Bridging and Time-Sensitive Networking. Certification through the Avnu Alliance independently verifies that compatible products meet the required standards for reliable networking, cross-manufacturer interoperability and clock synchronisation.
Tony Torlini, General Manager at Kelsey Acoustics, said:
“Achieving Milan certification is a significant milestone for KelseyVerse and for Kelsey more broadly. It gives integrators and engineers confidence that KV-M22A and KV-M22D will work seamlessly with any other certified device on the network, regardless of brand.”
He added:
“This is the standard our customers expect from Kelsey after more than 40 years of building infrastructure for live sound, broadcast and studio applications.”
