ISCVE recently delivered its Voice Alarm Fundamentals course to a group of Telent engineers at the company’s Warwick headquarters.

The one-day course, held on 19 August, was delivered by Bob Howard FInstSCVE and gave delegates a practical introduction to voice alarm systems and the requirements of BS 5839-8.

The course covered key areas including system design, loudspeaker selection and placement, speech intelligibility, monitoring, commissioning and maintenance.

It was great to work with the Telent team and support the continued development of their engineers’ technical knowledge.

ISCVE can deliver selected courses in-house, this provides a convenient and cost-effective way to train groups of employees together.
