ISCVE Members have suitable qualifications and experience, hold a responsible position and apply extensive technical, not necessarily academic, knowledge and capability.

Each grade of Membership of the ISCVE is subject to certain qualifying criteria. This ensures our membership and our institute retains a position of technical and commercial excellence within our industries.
Applicants shall either hold a degree (bachelors or higher) in an appropriate technical subject and have a least three years experience and be currently engaged within the sound, communications and visual industries.
Alternatively Applicants shall hold a lower degree or HND / HNC or NQF Level 5 qualification in an appropriate technical subject and have at least five years experience and be engaged in the sound and communications industries.
Alternatively Applicants shall satisfy Council they have equivalent technical knowledge and understanding and shall be assessed in the upgrade interview process.

I don’t work in a related industry, can I become a member?
Those with an interest in the sound and communications industries but not working within them can apply for Associate membership.
