IoA Call for Papers 2021
The Institute of Acoustics has announced its 37th Annual Conference and Exhibition for 2021 along with a ‘Call for Papers’. Organised by the Electroacoustics Group of the Institute of Acoustics in collaboration with ABTT, AES, APRS & ISCVE this year’s event is scheduled to take place on 16-18 November 2021 at The Bristol Hotel, Princes Street, Bristol.
Due to Covid-19 it is not yet known whether this conference will be in-person, hybrid or virtual, a decision will be announced by the end of May 2021, once the Covid situation is clearer.
REPRODUCED SOUND 2021 – You’re on Mute – The importance of Audio
The 37th Reproduced Sound Conference will focus on all aspects of electroacoustics, and will bring together practitioners, educators and students in an atmosphere with a friendly and enthusiastic ‘buzz’, which is a hallmark of past RS conferences. The importance of audio to our lives has been highlighted by the global pandemic. What will our audio future look like?
Call for Papers:
The committee invites papers on all electroacoustic topics including the following:
- Video conferencing
- Streamed and hybrid live events
- Acoustics in Rooms
- Audio System Design
- Audio Signal Processing
- Installation Sound
- Loudspeakers and microphones
- Immersive Audio
- Speech Intelligibility
- Measurement and Evaluation
- Cinema and Broadcast Sound
- Case Studies
If you would like to submit a paper for consideration/inclusion please send your abstract (150 words) for papers plus a short biography of up to 150 words to linda.canty@ioa.org.uk by Friday 28 May 2021.
Final written papers for the Proceedings must be submitted by Friday 1 October 2021
