ISCVE Senior Technician Membership
A Senior Technician demonstrates a high level of technical expertise and experience within the sound, communications and visual industries.
Applicants shall hold, or be able to demonstrate, a high level of technical expertise within their appropriate technical subject, experience within the sound, communications and visual industries or be employed in a supervisory position within an established organisation.
The current annual fee for Senior Technician Membership is £85.

Senior Technician Members entitled to use SenTechInstSCVE designatory letters
Each grade of Membership of the ISCVE is subject to certain qualifying criteria. This ensures our membership and our institute retains a position of technical and commercial excellence within our industries.
Applicants shall hold a standard of general education and technical competence to NQF Level 4 (NVQ Level 4 or BTEC Professional), or Level 5 (HNC/HND) or equivalent in an appropriate technical subject.
Applicants have been employed in sound, communications and visual industries for more than three years.
Alternatively, Applicants shall satisfy, via the upgrade Interview process, they have an equivalent knowledge and understanding, in another technical field.
Examples of suitable qualifications include HNC/HND, BTEC Level 4 or 5 Professional or NVQ Level 4 or 5
Examples of suitable technical knowledge include a good knowledge of the behaviour of sound / building acoustics / installation and / or manufacturing techniques, showing an understanding of the technical aspects.
Supervisory positions include Team / Project Supervision
