Voice Alarm Fundamentals training back in person
Bob Howard MInstSCVE was back to presenting our VA Fundamentals training to a full-house on 27 February.
The course, aimed at anyone in involved in specifying, designing or installing voice alarm systems, particularly audio engineers and fire engineers, gives an engineer’s introduction to the requirements of BS5839-8:2013 detailing the requirements for the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of voice alarm systems, along with practical advice and examples.
Starting from basic PA / acoustic knowledge the course content builds to detail the concept, planning and integration of the various ‘life critical’ aspects of a design.
