ISCVE exists to serve its membership and validate their individual technical standing within the industry to the world at large. Unlike many professional bodies, the ISCVE prides itself on not being totally academically focussed because it recognises that many Technician or Senior Technician members have arrived in the industry through other routes that are no less valid.
As the ISCVE continues to forge recognition with its members with external institutions such as the Institute of Acoustics, Electrical Certification Board, PLASA and others, membership is only becoming more relevant to career trajectory.
While the ISCVE is ramping up it’s CPD program over the coming months, Council is encouraging its members to consider eligibility for an upgrade via a new upgrade application process where additional qualifications and experience gained can be detailed, as well as the traditional upgrade routes of an interview or submission of a technical report. Details of the new upgrade process will be confirmed soon.
