It was a privilege to be invited to join the panel of speakers at Shure UK’s Celebrating Women in Audio event that took place last month at their impressive new facilities in London recently. The event took place at the Rose Shure Experience Centre in London and was a chance for us all to celebrate and highlight innovative, passionate and talented women working in our industries and to discuss ways to make further enhancements with diversity, inclusivity and inspiration.
James Hill, Shure UK’s Director of UK and Ireland Integrated System Sales was MC for the night and other panellists included; Carys Green of WAVE, Malle Kaas, President of WILM, Hannah Brodrick, FOH Monitor and Sound Engineer / WILM / winner of ‘Shure 24’, Kevin McLoughlin, AVIXA Diversity & AV Manager for the Royal Society of Medicine and Maddie Vining, Women In AV & Royal Society of Medicine AV.
Shure treated guests to a champagne reception and a tasty Lebanese buffet and we’d like to extend our thanks to Jennie Hill, Shure UK, who organised a really successful event.
