ISCVE ECS Card Scheme Update 600x300 Image 2022

ECS Scheme: Price Increase Scheduled for 1 March 2024

While nobody enjoys seeing prices rise, we believe it’s important to provide advance notice. Hence, we would like to inform you that starting from 1st March 2024, there will be an increase in the cost of ECS assessments and cards by JIB/ECS.

Here’s the notification from JIB

The JIB carries out a review of ECS fees annually and has kept all card and application fees frozen since 2022. To ensure we continue to offer the best support and service we can, and reflecting ongoing business costs, we will be increasing ECS fees for all card applications and ECS assessments by approximately 3% (excluding VAT) from 1st March 2024. This rise has been kept to below inflation.

Prices will change as indicated;

  • HS&E Assessment from £45 plus VAT to £46.50 plus VAT
  • Electrical Safety Assessment from £45 plus VAT to £46.50 plus VAT
  • ECS AV Engineer card initial from £45 plus VAT to £46.50 plus VAT
  • ECS AV Engineer renewal/replacement card from £35 plus VAT to £37.50 plus VAT
  • ECS Sound Engineer card initial from £45 plus VAT to £46.50 plus VAT
  • ECS Sound Engineer renewal/replacement card from £35 plus VAT to £37.50 plus VAT

If you are due to replace / renew your cards soon it may be prudent to renew in advance of 1 March 2024.
