The Institute of Acoustics has made a call for paper for  Reproduced  Sound 2020 , its 36th Annual Conference and Exhibition, organised by the Electroacoustics Group of the Institute of Acoustics in collaboration with ABTT, AES, APRS & ISCVE.

Currently scheduled to take place 17-19 November 2020 at The Bristol Hotel, Princes Street, Bristol, the 36th Reproduced Sound Conference will focus on all aspects of electroacoustics, and will bring together practitioners, educators and students in an atmosphere with a friendly and enthusiastic ‘buzz’, which is a hallmark of past RS conferences. Authors are encouraged to include practical elements and demonstrations in their presentations and could be allocated extra time if requested.

Call for Papers:

The committee invites papers on all electroacoustic topics including the following:

  • Live Event and Stage Sound
  • Acoustics in Rooms
  • Audio System Design
  • Audio Signal Processing
  • Installation Sound
  • Loudspeakers
  • Immersive Audio
  • Speech Intelligibility
  • Measurement and Evaluation
  • Cinema and Broadcast Sound
  • Case Studies
  • Microphones

Contributors are invited to send abstract (150 words) for papers plus a short biography of up to 150 words to linda.canty@ioa.org.uk by Friday 15 May 2020. Final written papers for the Proceedings must be submitted by Friday 2 October 2020.

Call for Posters:

The committee also invites and encourages submissions for poster sessions on the above topics. The poster sessions are intended to give opportunities for delegates, with work in progress or topics that are not yet ready for a full paper, to present their work.
