The Institute of Sound and Communications Engineers (ISCVE) is exhibiting at ISE 2018, taking place at the RAI Amsterdam, Netherlands from 6th-9th February 2018 and can be found on stand number 7-Z190 in Hall 7.

With an ever-rising number of UK companies and visitors making the trip to ISE, it is increasingly important for the ISCVE to be present at Europe’s largest AV and systems integration industry event, particularly since the ISCVE has become accredited ECS card issuers.

In 2017 the ISCVE was approved by the Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) to assess and issue ECS Cards for sound engineers working within sound and communications industries. This agreement allows ISCVE to issue and renew ISCVE sound engineer ECS cards to existing and newly accredited ISCVE members.

Helen Goddard, Vice President for the ISCVE, comments, “a recognised ECS card is increasingly requested by clients and main contractors to gain access to sites and venues for equipment upgrades and routine maintenance. The ISCVE is the only dedicated provider of ECS cards to sound industry professionals”.

“We look forward to meeting lots of visitors to ISE in Amsterdam who are looking to become ECS accredited or companies who would like staff and colleagues to become accredited. ISE provides an excellent platform for us to meet lots of key people working within our industries and to discuss improving standards from within”, adds Goddard.

Personnel from the ISCVE will be available for the entire duration of the ISE exhibition that runs from Tuesday 6th February until Friday 9th February 2018.
