ISCVE at Learning and Teaching Spaces Managers Group
This year saw the biggest Learning and Teaching Spaces Managers Group (LTSMG) conference to date with over 90 delegates, 47 sponsors and many special guest speakers.
The 3-day LTSMG 2023 event, held at Loughborough University from 3 May, was a week of learnings for hybrid teaching and teaching/learning space design and it was an opportunity to hear new perspectives in the world of learning technology.
LTSMG extended an invitation to Sarah and Ros to provide insights into ISCVE including its purpose and advantages of becoming a member.
Ros Wigmore, Business Manager said, “it was an honour to be invited to talk to an audience of professionals working specifically in the education community and we enjoyed our time at the event meeting both the sponsors and delegates”.
The Learning and Teaching Spaces Managers Group was created to provide Higher Education AV, Media and IT managers with a forum to share knowledge and ideas, for those that work within higher education and are responsible for the design, specification, installation or support of audio-visual systems, it is good to have a platform for support and advice from others in the industry.
£800 was raised from the 2023 LTSMG Conference Charity Raffle in support of Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People and was rounded up by the organisers to a £1000 donation to this amazing organisation.
