ISCVE is proud to sponsor two categories at the Production Futures Breakthrough Talent Awards 2026: Audio Newcomer of the Year and AV Newcomer of the Year.

The Awards recognise and celebrate talented newcomers from across the entertainment production industry. This year’s programme includes 24 categories representing the wide range of skills and career opportunities available across audio, AV, lighting, broadcast, live events and production.

As part of our commitment to supporting emerging talent, ISCVE will provide the winners of its two sponsored categories with 12 months’ ISCVE membership. This will give them access to the Institute’s professional network, technical resources, events and continuing professional development opportunities as they take the next steps in their careers.

Audio Newcomer of the Year
Recognising an emerging professional who has demonstrated talent, commitment and potential within audio.

AV Newcomer of the Year
Celebrating a newcomer who is building their skills and making a positive contribution within the audiovisual industry.

Nominations are open to companies, colleges and industry colleagues, while newcomers who are already active within the production industry may also nominate themselves.

The winners will be announced at the Production Futures Breakthrough Talent Awards, held during Production Futures ON TOUR at Production Park in Wakefield on Thursday 19 November 2026. The event will also be live streamed for the first time.

Representatives from ISCVE’s Early Careers Committee will attend the event to support the Awards and speak with visitors about careers, membership and professional development within sound, communications and visual engineering.
