Penguin Media Appoints Samantha Viggers as Managing Director
ISCVE Registered Installer member Penguin Media Group has announced the appointment of Samantha Viggers as Managing Director across both Penguin Media Solutions and Penguin Media Hire, marking an exciting new chapter in the company’s continued growth.
The announcement sees Samantha take on an enhanced leadership role across the business, overseeing operations, team development and client delivery, while continuing to support the high standards the company has become known for across the AV and live events sectors.
Founder Charlie Langridge will move into the role of Executive Director, focusing on growth, partnerships and future project development, while co-founder Dylan Thompson will continue leading technical projects and sales development as Technical Project Manager.
Speaking about the appointment, Charlie Langridge said:
“Sam has been a huge part of how Penguin runs for a long time. This is about recognising that and giving her the platform to keep building on it. She’s brilliant with clients, the team trust her, and she genuinely cares about the work we do.”
Commenting on her new role, Samantha said:
“AV, events and tech have traditionally been male-dominated spaces, but that’s exactly what makes this opportunity so meaningful to me. I am proud to be part of a company that’s committed to challenging that balance, opening doors, and creating a more inclusive environment for the next generation.”
Penguin Media Solutions specialises in the design, installation and maintenance of commercial audio, video and lighting systems, while Penguin Media Hire delivers technical production and equipment support for live events, festivals and activations across the UK. Together, the businesses provide an end-to-end service spanning permanent AV installations through to live event production.
It is always encouraging to see the achievements and growth of ISCVE members recognised across the industry, and we congratulate Samantha and the Penguin Media team on this exciting development.
