Supporting Member Wharfedale Pro has delivered a flexible and high-performance audio solution for Padel Up, a new sports and social venue in the UK.

Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in the UK, combining elements of tennis and squash in a highly social and accessible format. Its broad appeal is driving rapid growth in participation and the development of new venues across the country.

Designed as a community-focused destination, Padel Up brings together four padel courts, a gym and a café bar, creating a space where visitors can train, compete and socialise. In addition to daily use, the venue also hosts events including DJ performances, requiring a sound system capable of adapting to a wide range of acoustic and volume demands.

Working closely with the installation and management team, Wharfedale Pro specified a system that provides clear, consistent background audio for everyday activities, alongside the power and headroom needed for more energetic events.

With zoned control and carefully selected loudspeakers, each area of the venue can be managed independently while keeping a cohesive audio experience throughout.
