Objective:

The regional sales engineer is part of the regional sales team and is supporting the account managers, reseller, consultants and large projects. This support is audio design support, technical support during sales conversations and transfer of knowledge to sales teams, resellers and consultants.

Key Result Areas:

Result Area: Audio system design

  • Design of a professional audio system
  • Coordinate with account manager, consultants and others to understand the need of the audio  system.
  • Using simulation tools like Modeler or Easy to create professional design
  • Import construction information data from Autocad files or Google sketchup models
  • Measuring room reverberation time to design acoustical accurate model
  • Create line drawings of the audio system and indicate component locations on Autocad drawings
  • Create audio design report with comments
  • Explain and present the design to resellers and consultants.
  • Assist account managers during sales conversations with technical expertise.
  • Use tools like Auditioner to demonstrate the capabilities of the audio system

Result Area: Technical support account managers during sales process

  • Assist account managers during sales conversations with technical expertise
  • Share knowledge with account managers, resellers to grow their capabilities
  • Follow-up on action items
  • Assist resellers during the project execution if required
  • Assist resellers during system tuning if required
  • Assist rental companies during system setup if required
  • Use tools like SMAART to measure the performance of the audio system

Result Area: Support of consultants

  • Support consultants during the design process of an audio system
  • Be responsive and share knowledge
  • Proactively reach out to consultants for offering support
  • Maintain a relation with limited list of key consultants

Result Area: Reporting

  • Track all activities in MSD CRM system.
  • Update project information ongoing with new information
  • Report activities to the sales managers
