Production of Quotations

• Liaising with customers/engineers to ascertain the project design requirements
• Interpretation of client’s specification and drawings
• Development of the design to meet standards/specification and subsequent equipment selection
• Acoustic design
• Production of detailed cost calculation documents
• Production of quotations, supporting documents and drawings
• Understanding and discussing commercial contracts
• Designing to the legislative standards

Sales Support

• Maintaining customer database
• Discussing submitted quotations with customers
• Supporting sales team with negotiations
• Visiting site to carry out design surveys

Technical Support

• Production of operation and maintenance manuals
• Compilation of design material following order placement and formal handover to project team

• Good communication skills, ability to work as part of a team
• Good organisational skills
• Problem solving and attention to detail are extremely important in this role
• Working toward a full driving licence would be desirable

• BTEC/HNC Electronics desirable as will be integral part of understanding
• Excellent ICT skills
• Membership of ISCVE an advantage

• Confident communicator, both face to face and on telephone
• Work accurately to deadlines and under pressure
• Ability to effectively prioritise tasks
• Attention to detail
• Responsible attitude
• Enthusiastic
