Leisuretec and Vangis team up for Amazon's New Training Centre
Amazon Fulfilment Centre approached leading AV integrator Vangis Presentation Solutions for a comprehensive audio-visual system to enhance their training facilities. Amazon had indicated they required a flawless installation process with high-grade equipment tailored to their distinct requirements..
For their training facility, Amazon requested a central screen that could deliver clean and crystal clear images in daylight conditions. From conceptualization to execution, Vangis meticulously attended to every aspect, leaving no detail overlooked. The Vangis team also integrated a 163” LED wall into the Amazon Fulfilment Centre’s training facility as a central screen for all training requirements. Despite the presence of a sound bar on the LED wall, the client expressed the requirement for additional sound reinforcement to guarantee an exceptional audience experience during training sessions.
Vangis’ proposed setup included a single Cloud MPA240 mixer amp, 4 x Sennheiser EW-D Wireless Microphone Systems (with 2 x lapels and 2 x handheld mics), a Cloud LM-2 remote wall control unit, and 12 x Apart CM30DTD 100v flush-mounted ceiling speakers, all supplied by Leisuretec.
By situating the amplifier and wireless mic receivers in an existing rack cabinet at the rear of the room, Vangis strategically routed 60m of speaker cabling through the ceiling void. This arrangement ensured a seamless and orderly setup, whilst delivering excellent audio quality.
The Cloud wall control plate at the front of the room, allows Amazon staff to control music and microphone levels effortlessly, also allowing for the connection of additional local audio sources when needed, providing the maximum flexibility required for varying training scenarios.
Vangis successfully revamped the training facility at the Amazon Fulfilment Centre, creating an immersive Audio Visual environment for associates.
