Job Brief:

A results-driven Channel Sales Manager with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customers and prospects. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for new and existing customers in order to boost top-line revenue growth and profitability.

Job Description:

The channel sales manager will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and the ability to showcase our brands and solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identification of strategic customers and partners 
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments. 
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations. 
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Report on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Meet monthly and annual sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics 
  • Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities 
  • Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all channel categories
  • Possess technical knowledge and be able to conduct demonstrations across all brands and product ranges.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Representative 
  • Strong technical understanding of audio and related technology
  • Familiarity with CRM practices 
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills 
  • Prioritising, time management and organisational skills 
  • 3-5 years in sales within a technical setting
  • Membership of ISCVE an advantage
  • Driving Licence (Essential)

Salary:

£40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types: Commission pay
